Sodam & Co. — Founding 100

First eight.
Slowly gathered.

A Korean curator's quiet edit. One hundred founding members only — then the door closes until the drop.

What is Sodam & Co.

Sodam means a small gathering in Korean. I source wellness and beauty objects from Seoul makers I trust — eight at a time, four times a year. No trends. No flash sales. Just the things I would put on my own shelf.

— Sue, curator

What founding members receive

  1. Lifetime 15% on every drop

Forever. Not a launch promo — a permanent rate, only for the first hundred.

  2. 24-hour early access

Each quarterly edit opens to founding members one full day before the public. The eight are small. The minutes matter.

  3. A handwritten letter, four times a year

Tucked inside the box. Notes from Seoul, the maker behind each piece, what I'm using this season.

  4. The door closes at one hundred

When the list is full, it stays closed. No second wave, no extension. Founding membership is a one-time door.

The First Eight — arriving day 31

A quiet preview

No. 01

A bath oil from a small Jeju studio

Camellia and rice bran. Smells like the second day of a long trip.

No. 02

A ceramic incense holder

Hand-thrown in Icheon. Heavy in the hand, the way good objects are.

No. 03

A morning tea blend

Adlay, jujube, a whisper of ginger. The kind of warmth you want in October.

No. 04

A linen face cloth, three to a set

Woven near Andong. Softens for a year before it asks to be replaced.

Four more will follow. Prices arrive on day thirty-one.

A letter from the curator

I grew up between Seoul and four other cities. I learned that a good object — a small bowl, a worn linen, a tin of balm — can carry a whole place inside it.

Sodam & Co. is my attempt to gather eight of those things at a time, from makers in Korea I have actually met, and to send them quietly to people who will keep them.

The first hundred members shape what this becomes. If that sounds like your kind of small gathering, the door is open for now.

— Sue
